As the most successful home event in Orlando, the Street of Dreams tour brings in more than 45,000 visitors. From May 10 to June 22, the eighth annual Orlando Street of Dreams tour will showcase three homes built and designed by Orlando’s most talented architects, builders, and interior designers, including Lake Mary’s own Anne Rue of Anne Rue Interiors.

Anne has fulfilled homeowner’s dreams since 2000. Her expertise in creating custom environments that combine beauty and functionality in a home has made her one of Orlando’s most respected designers. Anne’s ability to recognize that “Traditional” for one client may be “Modern” for another is her greatest talent. In her own words, “Creating the expressions and feelings the client wants within their home is what I do; if I haven’t created a space where they are comfortable and feel at home then I haven’t done my job.”

Of the three luxury homes on display for the Street of Dreams tour, Anne’s designs will be showcased in the only home with an owner. Since the home had already been purchased, she was able to design it for a specific family instead of for the builder. “Having the chance to work with the homeowner really gives me the opportunity to listen to client’s wants and needs, and then figure out how to make their dreams a reality,” says Anne, “ I really enjoy working with homeowners to bring their visions to life.”
